Medium 120-180	Used to clean the repair area and remove loose paint/rust. Filler sanding.
Fine 320-400	Feather-edging, primer refinement and plastic bumper sanding.
Superfine 500-600	Final primer refinement before painting. Plastic bumper sanding. Light blending. Preparation for seam-sealer application.
Ultrafine 600-800	Final primer sanding for critical base-coat colours. Blending.
