New technology product to replace our old Smart Express Lacquer Kit (Part No LACTW035). This was a popular kit with 5lt of lacquer and 2.5lt of associated hardener for our SMART Repair customers who had been on our IMI Accredited training courses. It was old technology, and our technicians have chosen the Silco 9050 X5 HS Clear Coat product to replace this great value kit with this superior product at very similar value.
This is the product we now use on our training courses where possible and it comes in two different kits also reflecting how SMART repairs have changed over the years. The kit varies just by hardener as we now offer a Fast and an Extra Fast option.
- FAST – 9230 Hardener: Perfect for larger repair areas like a full panel will dry quickly but allowing time to work the topcoat and achieve a high gloss scratch resistant finish. Will air dry at 20°C in 10 hours, at 60°C in 20 minutes, and using infrared in 15 minutes. Recommended for use on vertical surfaces. Use two full coats with flash off between coats (5-10 minutes).
- EXTRA FAST – 9220 Hardener: Ideal for smaller A4 size scuff and scratch repairs will dry very quickly and achieve a high gloss scratch resistant finish. Will air dry at 20°C in 8 hours, at 60°C in 15 minutes, and using infrared in 10 minutes. Recommended for use on vertical surfaces. Use two full coats with flash off between coats (5-10 minutes).
Potlife: 60 - 120 min
